Chapter Recruitment
Interested in joining Kappa? At Whitman, formal membership recruitment happens over the course of two weekends during September after a few weeks of acclimation to Whitman. Interested women can attend Panhellenic Opening Day to learn about Greek life and meet women who have been involved during their time at Whitman. The next day, chapters will share information about their philanthropic endeavors on "Philanthropy Day." We will share information about our national philanthropy, as well as the work we do that is specialized in Walla Walla. The following weekend, women will be invited to "Leadership Day" and "Tea Day." Here, we will share information about leadership opportunities in Kappa and get to know potential new members on a more individual level. Tea Day is one of our favorite events of the year - we host the event at the beautiful home of an alumni and celebrate our sisterhood so that potential new members can see what it is like to be a Kappa.
Recruitment at Whitman is all about finding the sorority that you would best fit into in a casual, fun, and inclusive setting. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love for Kappa!
