Sisterhood

Each month we hold a formal sisterhood event, where we expect above 90% attendance. Some of these events include pumpkin carving, a Valentines Day movie showing, and our annual holiday dinner in December where the main dish is catered and each kore family brings a dish, which is followed by a candle pass ceremony after dinner. At these events, we have very high attendance and they are a great way to get the members all together in a different setting than the weekly Chapter meetings. In addition to these events, we try to hold more informal sisterhood events. These events are generally very laid back, such as a movie night in section, or cookie decorating. This year, we have focused a lot on having higher attendance at non-mandatory events, like Sisterhood events, and it has really improved Chapter morale and has strengthened friendships within the Chapter.
